What can I even say about this? It’s the end of an era. A series that kept getting better and better over time, finally coming to this spectacular end. I wasn’t the biggest fan of Deathly Hallows 1, but this made up for it. The two together are a great movie. The Battle for Hogwarts was as good as it could have been. Lots of Voldy, and lots of Voldy saying “Haarrryyyy Pootttterrrrrrrr”. Some of the big deaths didn’t quite get the attention they deserved. I thought the rather complex and convoluted plot of book 7 came across clear enough to have an enjoyable experience. Snape’s death and memory scene was probably my favorite.
The epilogue was nice, but everyone in the theater was laughing, rightfully so, at the age makeup. It’s just funny to see these kids being made to look like their 40, even if it’s not that far off from their real age! Not really, but really, no.
