This exists to record my thoughts on movies, and occasionally other stuff. Too often my thoughts on something go unthunk for a while and eventually forgotten. I figure if I invested time in something in the first place, it's worth a few more minutes to make sure I remember it.

Friends With Benefits (2011)

Ok, I get it, New York is so fucking wonderful.  I was ready to hate this movie about 10 minutes in, but it won me over, in no small part due to the pairing of Timberlake and Kunis, they made this movie.  Woody too, he had a small part but he was perfect.  It’s a very funny movie with a predictable story but a sharp script.  The third act does drag a bit, but the performances kept me interested, there wasn’t a bad one in the bunch.  Plenty of silly moments, and corny ones too, but there was more than enough cleverness to outweigh those.
